I finally finished my first concentration!
I actually technically finished the concentration I worked on second, but who cares about the technicalities. All that matters is that I finally have one complete! After I get my critique and make any adjustments to it that I may have to I'll upload it ASAP. I'm going to start working on my second (but somehow first) piece this weekend hopefully with my new, fancy, artist-grade oil pastels. I've been having a great time working with them and I think I've found my new favorite media for large surfaces.

Yes, Again
I FINALLY got my oil pastels. They're not the best quality and I havn't got the prime paper for them, but I'll make due with what I have. I've started coloring my second line-art and am going to resume coloring the first piece that I began awhile ago today. Bad news is, I haven't got much time today but good news is, it isn't a huge piece. So I guess until my next post, see ya'll.

Finally!
Yes,
Finally I'm going to be done with my concentration. I'm finishing it this weekend and am REALLY excited about it. I'm also planning on doing the line-art for my third piece but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. I have no idea what I'd make it of (maybe some creepy old lady?) I'm planning to do it in oil pastel.

Bad News
'Sup,
Sadly I couldn't get my oil pastels this weekend. My mono took a real toll on me and I was literally asleep the ENTIRE weekend (sans fulfilling my need to eat and drink) not to mention my only immediate means of transportation was attending a funeral in Wisconsin. Hopefully I'll be able to get them tomorrow. If not, I'll start on yet another line-art for my third concentration piece.

Concentration Work
Greetings!
I'm all done with the lineart for my first peice (a dying dove) AND for my second peice (a black cat). I've been needing to stop by Asel and get oil pastels, for their color, and hopefully I can this weekend, although I'm a bit unsure about how busy I'll be. As for my personal work, I've been cranking out pinups like crazy and hopefully will upload the them to my Flickr Sketchbook soon. I havn't been able to due to technical difficulties but I'll hopefully solve them by this weekend.

Starting Concentration

As for what I'm going to do, I'm planning on creating a concentration based around images of ancient greecian bad omens. So far my first peice is going to be a dying dove (an omen of death). Lateness
I'm sorry I haven't written in awhile. My IPOD broke and that's my number one access to my blog/twitter. But the good news is I got another one and I'm ready to go! As for art, I'm currently working on a peice (18x24) of my mom and dad's adorable beagle. I've already done all of the lineart and I'm currently working on the colorwork with oil-pastel, my new favorite medium for bigger projects. Wish me luck <3
